LIFE+

The LIFE programme is the European Union’s financial instrument supporting environmental and nature conservation projects throughout the Union and in some candidate and neighbouring countries.LIFE+ consists of three components: Natural and bio-diversity, environmental policy and administrative practice as well as information and communication.The overall funding sum for LIFE+ amounts to 2.143 billion € for a duration of seven years (2007-2013).  


CIP Eco-innovation

Through the Eco-innovation funding scheme, the EU aims to support innovative products, services and technologies that can make a better use of our natural resources and reduce Europe's ecological footprint. With its objective to bridge the gap between research and the market, CIP Eco-innovation contributes to the implementation of the Environmental Technologies Action Plan (ETAP). This call supports Eco-innovative projects in different sectors which aim at the prevention or reduction of environmental impacts or which contribute to the optimal use of resources. The Eco-Innovation 2010 call priority areas are in recycling, the building and construction sector, the food and drink sector, greening business and 'smart' purchasing.
