Short profile of Prof. Harun Parlar

The professional career of Professor Parlar has always been characterised by international challenges. The PHD chemist is recognised in the professional world as a scientist honoured with numerous prizes, who, with his many years of experience, holds the distinguished Chair for Chemical-Technical Analysis and Chemical Food-Technology at the Technical University Munich in Freising-Weihenstephan.

Professor Parlar is Head of the RAPS research centre and Director of the Weihenstephan Research Centre for Brewing and Food Quality founded in the summer of 2004. Professor Parlar is also involved with research centres in Weihenstephan.

To date, Professor Parlar has published over 300 scientific works and has received a number of national and international awards and accolades for his work.
