SP7 Identification of development rules from data and information flows for development support of BEV

The aim of subproject 7 is to create the basis for efficiently using the data and information generated in the development process of the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) for requirements engineering and development validation.

By means of data-driven methods for complexity control (e.g. network theory) as well as for knowledge stabilisation (e.g. data mining, machine learning or information retrieval), findings for the optimisation of the validation processes with simultaneous increase of functionality and quality of the BEV are to be created from data and information of the current and previous development projects.

In the development of electric powertrains, special challenges arise from the large number of disciplines involved, the high degree of networking and the criticality of the subsystems, which results in a special need and a considerable potential for data-driven requirements and validation management. These challenges will be addressed in particular in subproject 7.
