BayFIA at the Bavarian Data Summit 2026: Real-Time Data and AI for Manufacturing and Mobility

How can real-time data and artificial intelligence (AI) be used to make informed decisions in manufacturing and mobility? On October 5^th 2026, the Bavarian Data Summit brings together in Munich stakeholders from industry, technology, research and politics. The focus is on concrete use cases from Bavaria and cross-sector exchange on data-driven solutions.

Under the motto “From Real-Time Data to Decisions: Use Cases from Digitalisation, Manufacturing & Mobility”, the Bavarian Data Summit 2026 will take place on 5 October 2026 at Design Offices München Macherei.

The event will explore how real-time data and artificial intelligence (AI) can enable concrete decisions and transform value creation in manufacturing and mobility. The programme combines strategic insights into data infrastructure, digital sovereignty and AI with concrete examples of practical applications.

Which topics will be in focus?

Practical examples will show how data-driven systems are already being used today and which approaches can be transferred to other industries and fields of application. Topics include:

• real-time data and AI for data-driven decision-making
• data-driven applications in manufacturing and mobility
• scaling data and AI applications in companies
• digital sovereignty and data infrastructures
• “Generative AI” and “Advanced Analytics” in industrial applications
• data spaces and mobility data

Who is the Bavarian Data Summit aimed at?

The Summit brings together providers of data, AI, cloud and infrastructure solutions with users from industry and “Mobility Tech”, as well as stakeholders from academia, applied research and politics. A particular focus is on cross-sector exchange and on what lessons manufacturing and mobility can learn from each other.
