BayFIA at the Bavarian Transformation Congress for the Automotive and Supplier Industry

The automotive industry is undergoing fundamental change – and Bavaria is actively shaping this transformation. The 2025 Transformation Congress hosted by the transform.by network offers a platform for companies, policymakers, academics, and civil society to explore key transformation issues and highlight sustainable opportunities for both the economy and society.

At the heart of the event are contributions from State Minister Ulrike Scharf, State Minister Hubert Aiwanger, as well as representatives of leading OEMs, suppliers, research institutions, and social partners. The Bavarian Research and Innovation Agency will also be on-site with its own booth to inform participants about funding opportunities and support for research and innovation – within Bavaria and across Europe – to help move their projects forward.


Programme Highlights:

• Keynotes & panel discussions with representatives from politics, business, science, and labor unions – including topics such as social partnership collaboration and the future of the automotive industry in Bavaria
• Real-world examples in the “Transformation Theme World”, showcasing exhibits and innovation projects
• Two rounds of creative sessions on topics like skills development, digital business models, organizational structures, and strategic transformation
• Match4Transformation: AI-supported matchmaking for targeted networking
• NNetworking & exchange in plenary sessions, breakout discussions, and informal interactions in the Theme World

• Companies from the automotive and supplier industries, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
• Chambers of commerce and business-oriented intermediaries
• Trade unions and works councils
• Municipalities, economic development agencies, technology and start-up centers
