BayFIA at the 2026 Technology Transfer Congress in Augsburg
The aim of the Technology Transfer Congress is to encourage companies to collaborate with universities and research institutions by presenting a wide range of opportunities for cooperation.
The focus is on questions such as:
- How do innovations come about?
- Which new research findings and technologies are shaping the future?
- How can companies, universities and research institutions collaborate successfully?
- What opportunities do artificial intelligence, digitalisation and technology transfer offer companies?
The programme includes keynote speeches, specialist presentations, practical case studies, innovation pitches, guided tours and numerous networking opportunities. Thematic highlights include, amongst others, artificial intelligence (AI), technology transfer for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), innovations from research institutions, and successful collaborations between academia and industry.
BayFIA back on site
The Bavarian Research and Innovation Agency (BayFIA) will also be back on site this year. It will be presenting its services to support innovative project ideas right through to industrial implementation. Its service portfolio ranges from securing funding for R&I projects and technology transfer to patent commercialisation. As a partner organisation of BayFIA, BayFOR will provide insights into the successful application for EU funding for research and innovation.
