Call for Proposals “AI-Powered and Human-Centered Robotics for Real-World Applications”

The Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ) is partnering with the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts to launch a new bilateral research program on AI-powered and Human-Centered Robotics for Real-World Applications. 

The call for proposals is jointly conducted by:

• WKS Bavaria-Québec/Alberta/International at Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) on behalf of the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts (StMWK)
• Fonds de recherche du Québec, managed by Nature and Technologies sector.

Program launch: September 22, 2026

Deadline for registration (mandatory): October 13, 2026 (4 p.m. Bavaria time; 10 a.m. Québec time)

Deadline for application: November 16, 2026 (4 p.m. Bavaria time; 10 a.m. Québec time)
