TP1 Improvement of long-term stability of implants and other polymer based biomaterials using plasma-activated vapour deposition
The surface properties of textile implants and other polymer based implant materials, used in the field of heart valves or vascular prostheses, are modified by plasma-activated chemical vapour deposition (PACVD). Goal of investigation is the valuation and optimization of the long-term behaviour obtained for prototypes.
