In an occupational environment every employee has to assume a role which she or he is obliged to execute depending on primarily objective criteria like the affiliation of an enterprise to a certain type, industry and life cycle. There is only little space left for subjective preferences and resentments. The pragmatic research objective is to design frameworks to identify information requirements of different jobs, and to provide employees exactly the information they need to do their job. As a result also untrained users can apply the systems without a long period of practice because the systems adjust to the human not the other way round.
