I. Protective layers
These projects are concered with the development of surface coatings for protection against wear and oxidation. Examples of application are turbine blades, eyeglassses, casting tools and linear trackings. For the very first time diamond coatings are to be deposited on complex geometries and polymer coatings are to be ceramized by laser.
