5th Bavaria – Israel Symposium: Workshop Series on the European Green Deal (16.09.2020)

On 16 September 2020, the Scientific Coordination Office (WKS) Bavaria-Israel, together with the Israel-Europe R&D Directorate (ISERD), the Bavarian-French University Centre (BayFrance) and the Science Department of the French Embassy, will host the 5th Bavaria-Israel Symposium in the form of a trilateral seminar.

On 16 September 2020, the Scientific Coordination Office (WKS) Bavaria-Israel, together with the Israel-Europe R&D Directorate (ISERD), the Bavarian-French University Centre (BayFrance) and the Science Department of the French Embassy, will host the 5th Bavaria-Israel Symposium in the form of a trilateral seminar.
In the course of the event, participants from Bavaria, Israel and France will have the opportunity to discuss and work out cooperation possibilities within the framework of the new European Green Deal Call.

The online event will be divided into three consecutive workshops, which will be accompanied by experts from the Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) and ISERD and will focus on selected areas of the European Green Deal:

10:00 am – 12:00 pm Workshop 1: Industry for a clean and circular economy (Area 3)
12:00 pm – 02:00 pm Workshop 2: Farm to Fork (Area 6)
02:00 pm – 04:00 pm Workshop 3: Empowering citizens for the transition towards a climate neutral, sustainable Europe (Area 10)

The event targets both, those interested in making new research contacts and launching new projects, as well as those looking for additional partners for existing consortia.
