The Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ) is partnering with the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts to launch a new bilateral research program on AI-powered and human-centered robotics for real-world applications.

The regular Bavaria-Québec bilateral working group call for project proposals between the Ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie du Québec (MRIF) and the Bavarian State Chancellery (StK) is now open again for the 2026–2028 period.

Successful launch of the three TOM Small Satellites
On July 7, 2026, the three TOM small satellites from Zentrum für Telematik (ZfT), Bavaria, successfully launched to orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, USA.
As part of the cooperation agreement between Bavaria and Québec, there is a call for applications for scholarships in the field of Québec Studies for the year 2026.
