1st Bavaria-Israel Symposium in Tel Aviv (22.10.2018)

In cooperation with the Tel Aviv office and the “Israel-Europe R&D Directorate (ISERD), the Scientific Coordination Office (WKS) Bavaria-Israel initiated its first Bavaria- Israel symposium on digitalisation issues in October 2018.

In cooperation with the Tel Aviv office and the “Israel-Europe R&D Directorate (ISERD), the Scientific Coordination Office (WKS) Bavaria-Israel initiated its first Bavaria- Israel symposium on digitalisation issues in October 2018.
In cooperation with the Tel Aviv office, the WKS Bayern-Israel initiated the first Bavaria-Israel symposium on digitalisation in the fields of agriculture, life sciences and industrialisation in October 2018 and accompanied a delegation of Bavarian scientists to Israel. In addition to a workshop with Israeli experts, the participants also gained a comprehensive insight into the Israeli start-up culture and research landscape. A second Bavaria-Israel symposium is planned for spring 2019 and will then take place in Bavaria. In the medium run, the format of those symposiums is anticipated to be institutionalised and develop into a permanent cooperation and exchange platform for Bavarian and Israeli scientists.
