EUREKA call for proposals: Applied quantum technology (submission deadline: May 09, 2024)

The new EUREKA call for proposals supports international research and development projects in the field of applied quantum technology. The 15 participating countries include Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Lithuania, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK, as well as Germany and Israel.

The aim of the call for projects is to support applicant organizations in the development of quantum technologies, to accelerate further developments and thus contribute to solving relevant problems in industry, science and society. The call focuses on the following topics, but does not exclude other areas:

  • Quantum computing
  • Quantum simulation
  • Quantum communication and cyber security

Requirements

  • A consortium must consist of at least two independent institutions from two participating countries.
  • No military usability;
  • No project partner may recieve more than 70% of the total budget.

Project duration and budget

Max. 3 years (start by March 2025 at the latest);
The funding amount depends on the requirements of the respective national funding agency. You can find an overview here.
