Together with the Representation of the Free State of Bavaria to the EU, the Scientific Coordination Office (WKS) Bavaria-Africa of the Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) invites you to Brussels on 10 and 11 December 2024. Under the motto ‘Science meets Politics’, this Cooperation Lounge Africa-Europe in Brussels will foster the international dialogue between Africa, Europe and Bavaria in the field of research and innovation. The event focuses on the interface between science and politics and the development of ‘science diplomacy’.

In recent years, African-Bavarian research and innovation collaborations have been increasingly promoted. How equal are these partnerships? How can international cooperation projects be successfully realised together? The Scientific Coordination Office Bavaria-Africa (WKS) invites you to the Cooperation Lounge Africa - Bavaria in Munich to discuss precisely these questions and to connect with interested stakeholders.

On 11 April 2024, eight young researchers met at the Bavarian Research Alliance in Munich for the kick-off event of the ‘Early Career Scholarship Programme’.

The Scientific Coordination Office (WKS) Bavaria-Africa supports Early-Career-Researchers with funds of the Bavarian State Chancellery to initiate and perform research in African countries and build international networks.
