Meeting Point of the Hydrogen Industry: BayFOR at HYDROGEN DIALOGUE 2026

The HYDROGEN DIALOGUE will take place as part of The smarter E Europe, Europe’s largest alliance of exhibitions for the energy industry, and is integrated into ees Europe. This integration closely connects hydrogen with renewable energy generation, energy storage, and industrial applications.

Forum & Expo: Focus on Hydrogen Technologies

The HYDROGEN DIALOGUE Forum & Expo 2026 (Hall B2) showcases innovative solutions along the entire hydrogen value chain – from electrolysers and fuel cells to storage solutions and infrastructure for the transport and use of hydrogen.

The focus is on the exhibition and presentations (Expo & Forum) featuring international experts. This makes the event a central platform for knowledge transfer, networking, and project development in the hydrogen sector.

Summit: Leading Conference of the Hydrogen Industry

A highlight is the HYDROGEN DIALOGUE Summit on 24–25 June 2026, the central conference within the HYDROGEN DIALOGUE. It brings together international decision-makers from industry, politics, and the energy sector and promotes exchange on current developments and projects in the hydrogen field. The event is once again held under the patronage of the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy.

BayFOR On Site

BayFOR supports networking activities on site and provides advice on funding opportunities for European research projects in the hydrogen sector. As in 2024, BayFOR, in collaboration with the German-Hellenic Chamber of Industry & Commerce and with in-kind support from the Trade Office of the Greek Consulate General in Munich, organizes a delegation visit of Greek stakeholders to HYDROGEN DIALOGUE 2026.  

In addition, the Scientific Coordination Office Bavaria-Africa (WKS Bayern-Afrika) of BayFOR is organising the side event “GH2 Connect: Bavaria-Kenya & Beyond – Shaping the Future of a Global Green Hydrogen Economy” on Wednesday, 24 June 2026 as part of its pan-African and international networking activities.

There, it will also present the Bavarian-Kenyan cooperation platform for a green hydrogen ecosystem “GH2 Connect Bavaria-Kenya”. BayFOR is a partner in this project.

The event brings together representatives from the worlds of science, business and politics from Europe and Africa and serves as a forum for professional exchange and networking regarding international hydrogen partnerships and joint project development. Expected attendees include members of the Kenyan women’s delegation, Tunisian partners from the predecessor project, and other European and African stakeholders.
