FORTRAMA Annual Conference 2025: Trends and Impulses in Science Management

Prof. Frank Ziegele (Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE)) will open the event with a keynote speech: What about the science system in times of upheaval? The panel discussion will focus on a critical issue: evaluation. Is the peer review system still effective or do we need new evaluation mechanisms? Representatives from science and funding organisations will take it apart.

In addition: a packed programme of workshops and best practice sessions. Those who want to find out more about what associations have to offer or about specific topics , there will be topic tables in the foyer. Sponsors and funding organisations will also be present.

Scientific Coordination Office (WKS) Bavaria-Africa and the project management of BayFOR offer their workshop ‘Projects with African Partners’ on Thursday, 13 March 2025, from 16:30 to 18:00 - a deep insight into the administrative challenges and best practices of working with African researchers.
