[Translate to Englisch:] Industrial Technologies 2020

From 27 – 28 October 2020, the Digital Conference on Industrial Technologies 2020 will take place. It will offer participants the opportunity to join a platform for stakeholders from research organisations, industry and policy-making to discuss future trends, technological challenges and the further steps required in order to shape and strengthen future European industrial and research policy in the field of key enabling technologies such as nanotechnologies, advanced materials, biotechnology and advanced manufacturing under the considerations of socially fair transition to a sustainable and green economy.

Industrial technologies play a key role in the European industry. They provide essential foundations for the competitiveness of the European Union, shape all sectors of the economy and contribute to the solution of societal challenges and a sustainable future.

The content and aim of the event are to discuss future developments, exchange information and strengthen the collaboration across Europe. A special focus is put on thematic priorities like battery technologies, biologically-inspired innovation, manufacturing technologies, low carbon and circular economy. Participation in this high-quality event is recommended for scientists in these fields and the fields mentioned above.

This event is organised by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Project Management Jülich (PtJ) together with the European Commission (EU-COM), the German Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology DECHEMA e.V., Project Management Karlsruhe (PTKA) and VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH (VDI-TZ).

The recorded sessions of the conference are now available on the IndTech2020 website and the PtJ YouTube Account.
