CulturEU: Increased EU support for the cultural sector

With CulturEU, the European Commission has presented a new interactive guide that brings together all funding opportunities available at EU level for the cultural and creative sectors. The guide serves as a compendium of EU funding; it includes a total of 75 funding opportunities from 21 EU programmes, such as Creative Europe or InvestEU.

The background to this increased support is the fact that the cultural and creative sector in particular has been hit hard by the measures taken against the Covid 19 pandemic. In addition to previous measures to support the sector, such as increasing the financial framework for projects in Horizon Europe, among others, CultureEU was developed to facilitate access to EU funds and to highlight all available opportunities. From 2022, the guide will be available in all official EU languages.
