Many Bavarian companies already receive financial support for their innovations through national and regional funding programmes. But those with a Europe-wide outlook can take advantage of Horizon Europe. What lies behind this billion-euro framework programme for research and innovation from the European Union? What opportunities does it offer small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) – particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics and digitalisation? BayOConnect 2025 - Forum for Biotech & LifeScience

From 1 - 2 July, the networking event ‘BayOConnect 2025 - Forum for Biotech & LifeScience’ will take place in Munich, organised by Bio^M, the development and management organisation of the Munich Biotechnology Cluster. The aim is to drive progress in biotechnology. The Bavarian Research and Innovation Agency (BayFIA) will be on site to provide information about its comprehensive range of services and advice on research and innovation funding, technology transfer, patents and licences. BayFOR is a partner in the BayFIA alongside the Bavarian Transformation and Research Foundation, the Bavarian Patent Alliance and Bayern Innovativ GmbH.

BayFOR at IFAT Africa 2025

IFAT Africa 2025 will take place in Johannesburg from 8 to 10 July 2025. This leading environmental trade fair is one of the most important industry gatherings for water, wastewater, waste and raw materials management in sub-Saharan Africa. More than 100 German companies will be represented under the umbrella brand ‘made in Germany’ in the ‘German Pavilion’. BayFOR will accompany the Bavarian delegation from the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection, led by State Secretary Tobias Gotthardt.
