20th International Conference on "Environmental Protection is a Must"

The aim of the conference is to bring together representatives of politics, science and industry from Egypt and North-Africa in general, in order to discuss current research projects, problems and potential solution scenarios in the field of environmental protection.
Dr. Thomas Ammerl, scientific officer for Environment and Energy at BayFOR, will report on the Bavarian Research Alliance as an example of a joint initiative of the Bavarian universities and the Ministries of science and economics for promoting Bavaria´s scientific excellence at the European level. Furthermore, Prof. Mabrouk (Zagazig Universität) will present the current EU-funded research project CLIMB („Climate Induced Changes on the Hydrology of Mediterranean Basins“), which analyses the impacts of climate change on the hydrology in the Mediterranean region.
