4th Africa Day for Enterprises

The focus of the event is on market development through successful practices and business models for the cooperation of established companies with Startups. It solves questions such as:

• What are innovative and good practices in the cooperation between enterprises and Startups in African markets?
• Which innovative business models are promising and successful?
• Which role can sustainable social businesses play?
• How have successful partnerships of enterprises and Startups overcome obstacles?

You can expect short keynotes and best practice presentations as well as interactive workshop sessions. For instance, the Kenya National Innovation Agency will deliver a keynote speech on “Innovation ecosystems and the role of Startups”. Experiences of established companies and experiences of successful Startups from Germany and Africa are also on the programme.

BayFOR participates with a presentation on "EU-Africa cooperation in research & innovation – support, networks and perspectives". Possible funding for companies and researchers will be highlighted and the support offered by BayFOR to find project partners and raise funds will be presented. In addition, BayFOR will also contribute its knowledge and expertise to the panel discussion on cooperation of Startups and established companies.
