BayFOR at the Conference "Technologies for Immuno-Oncology"

Immunotherapies against cancer open up completely new opportunities to fight this “emperor of all maladies“. However, for this kind of therapies to become widely applied and successful, technological hurdles have yet to be overcome. At the Conference “Technologies for Immuno-Oncology“, researchers, clinicians and companies will show approaches to tackle those challenges. The importance of translational research in unleashing the potential of those novel strategies to fight cancer will be highlighted.

In the accompanying exhibition as well as during a company demonstrator session in the afternoon, companies will showcase their solutions in e.g. imaging, cell analysis and processing. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit the research facilities at TranslaTUM - Center for Translational Cancer Research, and to meet the scientists for discussions.

BayFOR will be attending the event and will advise on EU funding programmes related to the specific topics of the conference and to the area of health research and biotechnology in general.
