BayFOR at the international conference „Next Generation Solar Energy“

The conference aims at presenting the current and future conditions of the research and development activities from the range of solar energy. The BayFOR takes part in the event and informs interested people during the poster session on how to raise funds from the European Union in the area of „solar energy“. The focus is directed at  the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) of the European Union. BayFOR also offers strategic advice and active support for initiating projects, setting up international research consortia and submitting applications. Whereever appropriate, BayFOR will also take over the project management.

As an example for a successful application in the area of photovoltaics, BayFOR presents the EU project LARGECELLS. LARGECELLS aims at developing new polymere-based organic photovoltaic elements and has been funded since 2010 by the Seventh Framework Programme of the EU.
