BayFOR at the Rachel Carsons Center’s Tuesday Discussion

Munich. The Rachel Carson Center (RCC) invites Dr Thomas Ammerl, Head of Unit Environment, Energy & Bioeconomy at the Bavarian Research Alliance, within the framework of the RCCs lecture series “Tuesday Discussion”. He will provide insights into BayFOR’s services and activities in the European Research Area.

Scientists from the fields of environment and society are kindly invited to hear how BayFOR can support them in obtaining funding from the European Union for their research and innovation projects. On the agenda are the support in European funding schemes, the creation of international environment networks as well as management and communication of European projects.

The Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society (RCC) is an international, interdisciplinary center for research and education in the environmental humanities and social sciences. The institution is a joint initiative of Munich's Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität and the Deutsches Museum, with the generous support of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Its aim is to advance research and discussion concerning the interrelationship between humans and nature.
