Conference „Artificial Intelligence – Trends and Developments in Bavaria, Czech Republic and Saxony“ in Prague

Prague. From 23.10. to 24.10.2019 the Representation of the Free State of Bavaria in the Czech Republic is organising a conference together with other partners for the exchange of information on current trends and developments in the field of Artificial Intelligence in Bavaria, Saxony and the Czech Republic. The Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) informs in a lecture locally about possibilities of the European Union research promotion in the area of the artificial intelligence.

The conference is aimed at representatives of the academic world, of science management, ministries, research institutes and companies from Saxony, Bavaria and the Czech Republic in the field of AI. The programme includes workshops and networking opportunities.
The Bavarian Minister for Digital Affairs, Judith Gerlach, and the Saxon Minister of State for Higher Education, Research and the Arts, Dr. Eva Maria Stange, will also take part in the conference. The main speakers will include:

  • Prof Ute Schmid, University of Bamberg
  • Prof Steffen Hölldobler, TU Dresden
  • Prof Vladimír Mařík, CTU Prague
  • Dr Eduard Palíšek, Siemens
