European Research and Innovation Days
The European Research and Innovation Days aim at finding solutions in research and innovation for the transition towards a sustainable future by working across policies, setting the direction, spurring innovation and triggering investment. Stakeholders will have the unique opportunity to have a voice in the upcoming strategic priorities for the European Commission's investment in research and innovation. Furthermore, the event shall highlight the importance of R&I in addressing the challenges our society faces.
By creating connections between cutting-edge scientific research and the most pressing challenges of a generation, the European Research and Innovation Days represent a unique chance to join the conversation and enact real change.
Take the opportunity to join the discussion on how of research and innovation could contribute to the future of Europe just ahead of the 2021 launch of Horizon Europe – the next research and innovation programme – and a revitalised European Research Area.
There will be 3 days of intensive policy co-designing, thought-provoking panels and matchmaking opportunities.
The policy conference forms the core of the European Research and Innovation Days. Divided into ambitious plenary sessions spanning the depth and breadth of research and innovation in Europe, and specialised hubs covering 10 pivotal themes, it brings cutting-edge scientific research to concrete global problems. Choose from 10 hubs and dive into the sessions that interest you. Listen as experts share their insights on the state of their field, and get involved in game changing conversations that will shape the future. Each hub will have a virtual front desk providing information on hub-specific topics, breakout rooms for dedicated discussions and meetings and a virtual meeting room for policy sessions.
In addition, the free online science exhibition “Science is Wonderful!” should bring the world of science closer to the public.
