In-person workshop: ‘EU funding for visionary start-ups and SMEs: The EIC Accelerator’

With grant funding of up to €2.5 million and the possibility of a contribution of up to €10 million from the EIC Fund as blended finance, the European Innovation Council (EIC) supports the development and global commercialisation of ground-breaking, disruptive technologies with the EIC Accelerator, making it one of the most popular funding programmes for highly innovative start-ups and SMEs in the EU. In addition to financial support, participants also benefit from access to valuable networks and tailored business coaching. Several Bavarian companies – including Orbem GmbH, Quantum Diamonds GmbH, Tanso GmbH, Tozero GmbH and Reverion GmbH – have already successfully taken part in the program.

We support you with your application to the EIC Accelerator!

In our free workshop, we will introduce you to the new regulations and the application procedure. The experts from BayFOR's SME Advisory Services, together with external speakers, will provide a comprehensive insight into the three-stage application process. 

In the workshop, you will learn:

• How to successfully navigate the three-stage application process – from the short proposal to the pitch in front of the Brussels jury
• How EU evaluators make their decisions – and what really matters during the evaluation
• How a Bavarian company successfully made use of the funding programme’s potential.
• How you can benefit from BayFOR’s free support throughout the application process

In the afternoon, we offer 20-minute bilateral consultation meetings to provide an initial personal assessment of your project.

The event is particularly aimed at Bavarian start-ups, scale-ups and high-innovative SMEs and is suitable for participants with and without prior knowledge of the EIC Accelerator.

The workshop also brings together experts from the BayFOR, National Contact Point and an evaluator, offering a unique opportunity to network and exchange ideas with experts and other start-ups/ scale-ups.

Please note that registrations from potential applicants will be prioritized in order to specifically address their information needs. Registrations without a concrete application background can only be considered if space permits.
