Public Funding Opportunities for Quantum Technologies in the EU and Germany – Overview and Networking

Quantum technologies are technologies of the future. In the coming years, research into quantum technologies will also open up areas of application, for example in healthcare, the automotive sector, IT security, the financial sector or measurement.

Both the EU and Germany have recognised the potential of quantum technologies. For this reason, attractive funding is available for projects in the area of research and innovation. These funding opportunities will be the focus of the event.

After the welcome and an introduction by the Quantum Business Network, there will be a presentation on the funding opportunities for quantum technologies in Germany by the DLR Projektträger. The Bavarian Research Alliance will then present the funding programmes of the European Innovation Council, which support highly innovative SMEs. Afterwords BayFOR will also provide information about other funding opportunities in Horizon Europe, the EU's framework programme for research and innovation. Finally, there will be an opportunity to network with the participants and ask the experts questions.
