BayFOR at the Week of Innovative Regions 2018
The Week of Innovative Regions in Europe is an annual conference funded by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research & Innovation and a prime event marking the first week of Austria’s Council Presidency 2018. Since 2010, WIRE has been the European platform for regional innovation experts, gathering policy makers, national and regional authorities, knowledge institutions and enterprises from all over the continent to discuss issues that are influencing knowledge-based growth in Europe.
Hence, WIRE 2018 selected three smart choices to boost regional ecosystems of innovation: Connectivity, Entrepreneurship and Science & Research. Keynote speakers will discuss how European policy can effect regional innovation. Parallel and hosted by-sessions will showcase best practices from different European regions. First-hand information and a policy discussion on the next generation of EU funding instruments for regional innovation will round up opportunities to exchange views and practices.
