Extension of the UK's Horizon Europe guarantee

The United Kingdom (UK) government has again extended its commitment to provide replacement funding for UK participants in Horizon Europe. The "guarantee" now covers all calls in Horizon Europe with a submission deadline before or on 30 June 2023.

Successful UK applicants whose projects are invited for grant preparation while the UK is not yet associated to Horizon Europe can apply for the UK's replacement funding. The UK will then reimburse the project costs budgeted for the UK institution for the entire lifetime of the project. A prerequisite for funding from the "Guarantee" is that the UK partner is listed as a "Beneficiary" in the project proposal and applies for funding from Horizon Europe.
