Excellence Lab Bavaria-Africa: Funding opportunities in the new Global Health EDCTP3 work programme 2026
On 23 January 2026, the Bavaria-Africa Scientific Coordination Office is inviting you to the online event "Excellence Lab Bavaria-Africa: Funding Opportunities in the Global Health EDCTP3 Work Programme 2026‘. The focus will be on the current funding opportunities offered by the ’Global Health European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership 3" (EDCTP3). The event will provide a concise overview of six new calls for proposals and the application process. Participants will also have the opportunity to present their expertise and project ideas in a short pitch, as well as network with potential project partners from Bavaria, Europe and Africa.

Workshop: Circular Innovation in Household Electronics
How can circular economy be implemented concretely in the field of household electronics? This question will be addressed in a workshop organized by the Zero Waste Innovation Hub of the City of Munich on January 27, 2026, in collaboration with the Electronic Circle of Circular Munich and the Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR).

KETs EU Brokerage Event 2026 in Karlsruhe: Find project partners for Horizon Europe Clusters 4, 5 & 6
The National Contact Point for Digital and Industrial Technologies (NKS DIT) will once again be hosting the “KETs EU Brokerage Event 2026” in Karlsruhe on 4 and 5 February 2026. As an EEN partner, BayFOR is co-organising the event for Bavarian participants. The event will bring together reasearch and innovation stakeholders from across Europe to discuss current Horizon Europe calls for proposals and form new consortia. The focus is on key enabling technologies (KETs) and innovative solutions in the fields of industry, manufacturing, materials, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, robotics, battery technologies, and hydrogen.
