Matchmaking: Industry meets industry – international cooperation in the defence sector

On 19 November 2025, the day before the NEDS – NIDV Exhibition for Defence & Security, international cooperation in the defence and security industry will take centtre stage in Rotterdam. At ‘Defence Industry Matchmaking 2025’, companies, research institutions and start-ups will exchange ideas on new technologies, business opportunities and potential collaborations. This event is organised by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) in collaboration with the NIDV. BayFOR is co-organiser as a partner in the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).

Information event: Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education

On 3 December 2025, the Bavarian-Israel Scientific Coordination Office of the Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) and the Erasmus+ Office Israel are hosting a digital information event on the Erasmus+ programme ‘Capacity Building in Higher Education’ (CBHE). Participants will gain practical insights into the various programme lines and the application process, as well as receiving tips for successful applications. The focus will be on the funding guidelines for strands 1 ('Promoting access to cooperation in higher education') and 2 ('Partnerships for change in higher education').

KETs EU Brokerage Event 2026 in Karlsruhe: Find project partners for Horizon Europe Clusters 4, 5 & 6

The National Contact Point for Digital and Industrial Technologies (NKS DIT) will once again be hosting the “KETs EU Brokerage Event 2026” in Karlsruhe on 4 and 5 February 2025. As an EEN partner, BayFOR is co-organising the event for Bavarian participants. The event will bring together reasearch and innovation stakeholders from across Europe to discuss current Horizon Europe calls for proposals and form new consortia. The focus is on key enabling technologies (KETs) and innovative solutions in the fields of industry, manufacturing, materials, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, robotics, battery technologies, and hydrogen.
