Brussels. The Project Factory on Energy Technologies, which will take place in Brussels on 1 October 2019, addresses European companies (especially small- and medium-sized enterprises – SMEs and start-ups) from the energy technology sector as well as research organisations and universities which either have an innovative idea for a research and innovation project or are willing to bring their expertise into a European RDI consortium. The event is organised by the Bavarian Research Alliance and Berlin Partner, both partners in the Enterprise Europe Network.

The aim of the Project Factory is to promote the creation of high-value consortia in view of future applications for Horizon 2020 calls with thematic focus on energy technologies and to give an insight on forthcoming key aspects in selected upcoming Horizon 2020 call topics. The participants will also have the opportunity to learn about further relevant EU funding opportunities like ERA-Net which also cover energy-related topics, and to initiate joint exchange on current project ideas and approaches.

The one-day programme of the Project Factory includes:

  • Up-to-date information on upcoming Horizon 2020 calls in the field of energy technologies
  • Expert presentations on further relevant EU funding programmes like ERA-Net and on thematically relevant European networks and institutions  like EASME, INEA, and EERA
  • The opportunity to meet representatives from companies, research organisations and universities from across Europe who are looking for project partners
  • The possibility for the attendees to present their own project idea or expertise in a short flash presentation (max. 4 minutes) and receive some personal feedback on their current ideas and future project proposals

If you are interested in holding a short presentation, please indicate this when you register for the Project Factory using the registration form. Please submit your presentation to kratschke@no-spam-pleasebayfor.org by 20 September 2019 at the latest.

Due to the limited time frame, not all participants willl have the opportunity to give a presentation. The organisers reserve the right to select the presentations to be held at the event. The presentations received may be included in event materials and made available to all participants.
