On 11 June 2025, the Bavarian Research Alliance GmbH (BayFOR) will hold the online workshop ‘Excellence Lab Bavaria-Africa: Horizon Europe Funding Opportunity "GenAI for Africa"’. We will introduce the call topic “GenAI for Africa” and how to approach an application. The event also offers an ideal platform to get to know potential project partners with a focus on generative artificial intelligence for a digital, innovative and sustainable future, to connect and to exchange concrete project ideas.

BayOConnect 2025 - Forum for Biotech & LifeScience
From 1 - 2 July, the networking event ‘BayOConnect 2025 - Forum for Biotech & LifeScience’ will take place in Munich, organised by BioM, the development and management organisation of the Munich Biotechnology Cluster. The aim is to drive progress in biotechnology. The Bavarian Research and Innovation Agency (BayFIA) will be on site to provide information about its comprehensive range of services and advice on research and innovation funding, technology transfer, patents and licences. BayFOR is a partner in the BayFIA alongside the Bavarian Transformation and Research Foundation, the Bavarian Patent Alliance and Bayern Innovativ GmbH.
