The European Commission has presented its work programme for 2025 - a roadmap for a more competitive, secure and resilient Europe. It focuses on opportunity, innovation and growth. The focus is on citizens and businesses, streamlined processes and efficient delivery.

The future of urban farming starts now! The EU project INCiTiS-FOOD, in which BayFOR is a project partner, has launched a new call for proposals. The aim is to establish Local Innovation Hubs (LIHs) promoting sustainable agriculture and food technologies in six African countries: Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Cameroon and Gabon. Selected projects can receive up to €117,500 in funding.

Europe is getting ready for the future of artificial intelligence (AI). Commission President Ursula von der Leyen presented the InvestAI initiative at the AI Action Summit in Paris today. The aim is to mobilise €200 billion for the development of AI infrastructure and establish Europe as a global AI location.
