1. Career Day der HSWT: Future Skills – Bereit für die Welt von morgen?
The Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (HSWT) invites you to the 1st HSWT Career Day: "Future Skills - Ready for the world of tomorrow?" on 11 October 2024 in Freising. The event is aimed in particular at doctoral candidates, doctoral students, researchers, lecturers and alumni of the HSWT. BayFOR will take part in the panel discussion on the topic "What (future) skills do I need for a successful career in science and business?

The Scientific Coordination Office Bavaria-Africa at the conference of the Association for African Studies in Germany (VAD) in Bayreuth
Under the title ‘Reconfigurations in Africa - and in African Studies’ this year’s conference of the VAD will take place in Bayreuth from September 30 to October 2, 2024. The Scientific Coordination Office (WKS) Bavaria-Africa of BayFOR participates at the conference with an information stand and provides information on funding opportunities for international research and innovation projects in a lunch talk session.

On 26 September 2024, Innovation Centre Denmark will host an online innovation talk on EU funding and Danish-German cooperation in the fields of digital health, AI and robotics. BayFOR will give a presentation on EU funding and networking opportunities for SME.

BayFOR as EEN partner at the "88th International Trade Fair of Thessaloniki (TIF)"
The "88th International Trade Fair of Thessaloniki (TIF)” will be held in Thessaloniki (Greece) from 7 to 15 September 2024. The event is considered the most important industrial and trade fair in Greece. The Federal Republic of Germany has been invited as a guest country and will present itself under the title "made in Germany" with more than 100 German companies in the "German Pavilion" on over 6,000 square meters. As a partner in the Bavarian EEN consortium, BayFOR will be at the trade fair to present the EEN service portfolio, together with five other partners from the German EEN network. The EEN supports local networking activities between Bavarian and Greek players and advises on possible EU cooperation in the field of research and innovation.

17th Science Day of the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region in Hof
Under the motto "Resources for tomorrow and today - a roadmap for a secure future", experts from science and industry will be discussing sustainability and resource efficiency at this year's Science Day of the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region. The event is being hosted by the Green Tech University of Applied Sciences Hof, supported by Siemens and the Upper Franconia Foundation. The BayFIA and its partners will be represented at a stand there, presenting current projects and engaging in direct dialogue with interested visitors.

The Franken Finance Festival 2024 (FFF) will take place on 11 July 2024 in Erlangen. The festival offers lectures and workshops on the topic of "financing" and is particularly attractive for company founders who want to be optimally prepared.
