HYDROGEN Mobility Tech Conference (HYMOTEC)
The international conference "Hydrogen Mobility Tech" will take place on 19 and 20 March 2024 in Munich. The event aims to discuss the challenges and solutions that need to be overcome for a successful transition to a hydrogen economy. BayFOR will be present and will provide information on thematically relevant EU funding programmes for research and innovation as well as on its support services for applying for EU funding.

For our next Forschungscafé, we are pleased to welcome Dr Anne-Marie Pilote, Scientist in Résidence at the Québec Government Office in Munich. Dr Pilote, a Québec Postdoctoral Researcher in Information and Communication Sciences, will give insights into her science diplomacy role.

Franken Finance Festival digital - subsidy financing
On 27 February 2024, Medical Valley EMN e. V. invites you to the first part of the "Franken Finance Festival digital". The Franken Finance Festival digital is a new series of events that offers founders the opportunity to ask questions on specific topics in the field of financing. BayFOR will present the "Horizon Europe" EU framework programme for R&I, focusing in particular on the "EIC Accelerator" funding programme for SMEs.

Forschungscafé – Scientific Exchange in post pandemic times
For the first Forschungscafé of 2024, the WKSmeetsScience team is pleased to welcome Martin Bader, Professor of Technology Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Applied Sciences Ingolstadt (THI). Professor Bader will report on his visiting scholarship at McGill University during the winter of 2022/23.

BayFOR at the 23rd Nanotech Expo 2024 in Tokyo
The Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR), as a partner of HyFlow, will present the European project at the 23rd International Nanotechnology Exhibition & Conference "NanotechExpo 2024" in Tokyo from 31 January 2024 to 2 February 2024. Nanotech Expo is the world's largest international nanotechnology exhibition conference. BayFOR will be part of the largest Bavarian delegation organised by the Bavarian Nanotechnology Cluster.

Online workshop “Best Practices to Apply to European Research and Innovation Funds to foster cooperation between Bavaria and South America on Green Topics”
On 16 January, the Bavarian Representation for South America, together with the Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR), is organising the online workshop “Best Practices to Apply to European Research and Innovation Fundsto foster cooperation between Bavaria and South America on Green Topics”. The event aims to present the framework conditions for European funding for research and innovation projects and to share tips and tricks for submitting applications.

HYDROGEN DIALOGUE 2023 – Summit & Expo
The international trade fair "HYDROGEN DIALOGUE 2023 - Summit & Expo" will take place in Nuremberg on 6 and 7 December 2023. The trade fair is the central meeting point for national and international decision-makers and experts from business, politics and science along the entire value chain of the hydrogen economy. BayFOR provides on-site advice on thematically relevant EU funding programmes for research and innovation.

BayFOR at the "Munich global - solidarity - active" trade fair
On 25 November 2023, the City of Munich and the Nord Süd Forum Munich e.V. are organising the "Munich Global - Solidarity - Action" trade fair in Munich, The fair and its more than 60 exhibitors will focus on global human rights and sustainable development. BayFOR will present exciting EU research and innovation projects with African and Bavarian stakeholders. The event is the central information event for One World commitment in Munich and is aimed at all interested citizens.

CIRCULAR FoodPack Conference: "Circularity for Food Packaging"
On 23 November 2023, the EU project CIRCULAR FoodPack invites you to its first conference on circularity for food packaging. At the time being, plastic multi-layer composites are often used to pack food in a functional and safe way. However, current recycling technologies do not allow a reprocess of these multi-layer composites into high-quality materials. As such, they are excluded from the sustainable circular economy. For flexible food packaging, recyclability is even more complicated due to the high hygiene and safety standards that the recyclates must meet when reused in contact with food.

BayFOR at the “Boost Your Success with Horizon Europe” event in Austria
On 23 November 2023, the Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) will participate in the event "Boost Your Success with Horizon Europe" in Linz, Austria. The event, organised by BusinessUpper Austria, the Upper Austrian government’s location agency, will not only offer the opportunity to gain insights and exchange knowledge with experts but will also include a guided tour of the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz Science Park. The event is aimed at researchers, NGOs, SMEs, start-ups, and anyone interested in the EU’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation “Horizon Europe”.
