12th Bavarian Innovation Congress on the topic of "Circular Economy"
The 12th Bavarian Innovation Congress on the topic of "Circular Economy" will take place in Regensburg on 12 July. The congress is aimed primarily at companies and research institutions interested in the circular economy. The BayFOR unit for SME advisory services will present its service portfolio and the EU project CIRCOTRONIC, in which BayFOR is a project partner.

BayFOR at IFAT Africa 2023, Africa's Leading Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Refuse and Recycling
IFAT Africa will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa, from 5 to 7 July 2023. This trade fair provides a platform for the presentation of technologies and solutions for the water and wastewater, waste and recycling sectors for the African market in sub-Saharan countries. The aim is to give international companies access to the African market and companies in Africa access to the global market. The Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) will be represented at IFAT Africa at the stand of the Bavarian Meeting Point "Bavaria meets Africa" and will inform about thematically relevant EU funding programmes for research and innovation.

BayFOR at the Franken Finance Festival 2023
The Franken Finance Festival 2023 (FFF) will take place on 5 July 2023 in Erlangen. The festival offers lectures and workshops on the topic of "financing" and is particularly attractive for founders of StartUps who want to be optimally prepared. The Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) will present the EU funding landscape and current funding opportunities for this target group in an on-site workshop.

Nanotexnology Expo 2023
Thessaloniki (Greece). NANOTEXNOLOGY EXPO 2023 will take place from 1 July to 8 July 2023 and is the largest marketplace for applications, products and research in nanotechnology, nanomaterials, organic electronics, 3D printing/bioprinting and nanomedicine in Europe, as well as one of the leading networking areas worldwide with more than 60 countries represented. At its stand, BayFOR will be presenting four EU projects in which it is a project partner.

BayFOR on Energy Business Trip about "Storage Solutions for Renewable Energies and Charging Infrastructure for E-Mobility" in Greece
From 26 to 29 June 2023, an energy business trip and conference on "Storage Solutions for Renewable Energies and Charging Infrastructure for E-Mobility" will take place on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Labour (BMWK) and the German-Greek Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) will be present on 28 June to inform about EU funding programmes for battery and hydrogen projects.

BayFOR at the Bavarian Green Technologies Congress For The Americas
From 20 to 23 June 2023, the "Bavarian Green Technologies Congress For The Americas" will take place online, organised by the Bavarian missions abroad in North and Latin America with the support of Bayern International and the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy. The Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) will present innovative projects in the field of sustainability and energy transition in a breakout session.

BayFOR at the first AU-EU Innovation Festival in Cape Town, South Africa
On Thursday 15 June 2023, the first AU-EU Innovation Festival will take place in South Africa. The event is organized by the African Union, the European Union and the Republic of South Africa. The Scientific Coordination Office Bavaria-Africa will be present with an exhibition stand and will provide information on the services of BayFOR for EU funding of research and innovation cooperation between African and Bavarian universities, research institutions and SMEs.

As part of the Bavarian Start-Up Days 2023, Kempten University of Applied Sciences is offering an event on 24 May 2023 on the topic of “Green Minds Unite: Talks on Circular Economy” with speakers from the StartUp Center Kempten network and the partner university of St. Paul’s University in Kenya.

BayFIA at MedtecLIVE with T4M 2023
MedtecLIVE with T4M (Technology for Medical Devices) will be held at Messe Nürnberg from 23-25 May 2023. The Bavarian Research and Innovation Agency (BayFIA) will present itself at the Bavarian joint stand of Bayern Innovativ. BayFOR is also represented here and provides advice on EU funding for research and innovation in the field of medical technology.
