Excellence Lab: Boosting Research and Innovation Cooperation between Ethiopia and Bavaria in the energy sector
On 16 February 2022, the Kilimanjaro Innovation Hub (Ethiopia) and the Bavarian Research Alliance (Germany) will host the workshop "Excellence Lab: Boosting Research and Innovation Cooperation between Ethiopia and Bavaria in the energy sector". The event informs researchers, start-ups, companies and municipalities from Bavaria and Ethiopia about European funding opportunities for research and innovation and offers an ideal platform to meet potential international project partners and exchange concrete project ideas with a focus on sustainable, secure and competitive energy supply.

On 10 and 11 February 2022, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Germany and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), with the support of Enterprise Europe Network, invite you to the "Virtual Trade mission Blockchain Germany". The event is aimed at Dutch and German companies, research institutes and public institutions active in the field of blockchain technology. As a partner in the Enterprise Europe Network, BayFOR supports session 3 of the event as co-organiser and moderator.

German-Hungarian EUREKA Proposers’ Day and Matchmaking Event
In order to strengthen German-Hungarian cooperation within the EUREKA initiative, a virtual matchmaking event will be held on 7 December 2021 for SMEs and research institutions from Germany and Hungary that are active in the following areas: Artificial Intelligence (AI), quantum technology (especially quantum sensors), autonomous machines/autonomous systems, Industry 4.0 and biotechnology. The Bavarian Research Alliance is acting as co-organiser of the B2Match part of the event and would like to attract innovative Bavarian players in particular to take part in the transnational meetings.

EU project HyFlow at the Battery Innovation Days
From 23-25 November 2021, the main European battery research and innovation initiatives (Batteries Europe, Battery 2030+ and the Batteries European Partnership Association), in collaboration with the 1st and 2nd IPCEI on Batteries, are organising an online conference to bring together all key stakeholders and experts in the battery field and representatives of the European Commission. The EU project HyFlow will be present at this event. BayFOR is a partner in the project.

EU projekt HyFlow at the EU Sustainable Energy Week
From 25 to 29 October 2021, the European Commission, together with stakeholders from the energy sector, is organising the largest European conference on renewable energy and efficient energy use in Europe: the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW). Also in 2021, the theme of EUSEW is "Towards 2030: Transforming Europe's Energy System". The theme of EUSEW is "Towards 2030: Transforming Europe's Energy System". The EU project HyFlow will be present at the virtual event. BayFOR is a partner in the project.

Sustainable Energy Day on the topic of "Gender and Energy
On 20 October 2021, Women Engage for a Common Future e. V. (WECF) and BayFOR are organising a Sustainable Energy Day on the topic of "Gender and Energy" as part of the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW). BayFOR will give a presentation on the topic "European research projects: How to take into account the increasing importance of gender equality in research and development in the energy sector?".
