BayFOR at the Key Technologies in the Bioeconomy Conference in Straubing
From 27 to 29 September 2022, the Global Bioeconomy Alliance Conference “Key Technologies in the Bioeconomy” will be held in Straubing (Bavaria) to bring together stakeholders from industry, science and politics to boost the global bioeconomy. BayFOR will take part in the event as an exhibitor and will provide information on EU funding with a focus on topics like circular economy and bioeconomy. At its booth, BayFOR will also present the EU-funded project LIGNOFLAG which deals with the topic of advanced biofuels.

Slovenian-Bavarian Summer School: Materials for Energy and Environmental Application
The University of Ljubljana, the University of Regensburg, the Slovenian Ministry of Education, Science and Sports and BAYHOST are organising the Slovenian-Bavarian Summer School "Materials for Energy and Environmental Application" from 18-21 September 2022 in Ljubljana - a highly topical subject area with excellent career opportunities in science and industry. BayFOR will present the EU projects HyFlow and Recylib on site.

6th Circular Materials Conference in Sweden
On 14 and 15 September 2022, Nordic Publishing, in cooperation with research institutes, universities and organisations from the primary, chemical and recycling industries, invites you to the 6th Circular Materials Conference in Skellefteå, Sweden. BayFOR will give on-site presentations on "Circular Flooring" - new products from PVC flooring waste and safe end-of-life treatment of plasticisers" and "Recyclability of flexible packaging: improved recycling and new design for direct food contact applications".

EU projects HyFlow and RecyLIB at the Battery Innovation Days 2nd Edition
From 13-14 September 2022, the main European battery research and innovation initiatives (Batteries Europe, Battery 2030+ and BEPA), in collaboration with the 1st and 2nd IPCEI for Batteries, will organise the second edition of the Battery innovation Days. This conference aims to bring together all key stakeholders and experts from the battery sector and representatives of the European Commission. BayFOR presents the EU projects HyFlow and RecyLIB.

Science Summit at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA77)
The International Science Council and its partners are hosting the Science Summit at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA77) between 13 and 30 September 2022. BayFOR will participate in the Science Summit in a panel session entitled "Fostering Collaboration to Accelerate Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Convened by the Kilimanjaro Innovation Hub" on 13 September.

Excellence Lab Bavaria-Egypt – Cooperation between research and industry in the fields of water, agriculture and climate change
In order to strengthen the Egyptian-Bavarian cooperation in research and innovation, BayFOR and the Bavarian Business Office in Egypt in cooperation with the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce are organizing on 18-20 July 2022 a workshop on the topics water, agriculture and climate change. The event will be held in Cairo and is aimed at participants from start-ups, SMEs and larger companies, the public sector, scientific institutions, project donors and associations.
